Research
During my doctoral studies,I have worked extensively on caste and gender in India. In the coming years I intend to broaden myresearch in the areasof gender and cultural studies with special emphasis on sexuality andrepresentation inliterature, oral, visual and popular media. I am interested to understand how gender canbe used as a praxis vis-a-vis other emancipatory epistemologies to provide a more holisticsolution to the ongoing problematics of equality and discrimination.
