This course is an introduction to the thriving interdisciplinary field of Science and Technology Studies (STS), or Science, Technology, and Society Studies. It aims to familiarize with students the key debates, questions, thinkers, and texts in STS. A training in STS will make students aware of the historical and sociological context of scientific knowledge production. In order to understand how science works, it is imperative to know the socio-historical context of scientific knowledge production.
