The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IISER Bhopal is a multidisciplinary department conceptualised with a vision of foregrounding the interfaces between science, society and culture, and of initiating a dialogue between the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities. The department currently offers a doctoral programme in the disciplines of Cognitive Science, Literature, Philosophy, Sociology and Social Anthropology.
